D'Affanois Brie - cow. From France.

Me: I tried this a couple of weeks ago; the overwhelming memory is that of strongly burnt butter. Oddly, only a hint of sour. But still unpleasant. I remember the 'burnt' taste being the overwhelming thing. Probably be more sour if it hadn't tasted like the end result of a flamethrower hitting a bottle of milk.

Don: Milder than cheddar.

Bitter: 0
Salty: 3
Sour: 3
Sweet: 1
Umami: 2

Carrie: (Many groaning sounds were made) "It tastes like veal baby food - you know, the Gerber's stuff!" It's actually one of the milder cheeses she's had.
